The client

Black Cat are an independent building consultancy formed in 2015 by three surveyors who wanted to create a firm which is open and transparent for its employees and delivers an excellent service to its clients. They operate across the UK with offices in Manchester, Bristol, London and Birmingham.

Problem

The existing layout of the building had insufficient space for modern operational needs. To accommodate expanding logistics requirements, significant structural changes were necessary, including the removal of part of the building and the outdated foundation system.

Solution

We managed the complex process of temporarily supporting the building while removing the side and existing foundations. Our team then cast new docks and supplied the necessary openings and loading bays, providing a modernised and efficient solution that improved operational flow and maximised the building’s functionality.
